讲座内容：Mechanical and tribological behaviors of ultra-thin films and coatings at the interface are important concerns for MEMS devices. Present seminar focuses on experimental characterization and numerical analysis of those behaviors. The experiments utilize a sensitive nanomechanical transducer and the analysis employs knowledge of mechanics at the nano-scale.

讲座人简介：Youfeng Zhang received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University. He previously obtained both his M.S. and B.S. degrees in mechanical engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University. He is currently working as an Advisory Engineer of TDK/SAE Magnetics in the San Francisco Bay area (Silicon Valley). His research interests include nano-tribology, nano-mechanics, lubrication and bearings.
