主讲人简介:

Professor Pan is known as a famous scholar of Chinese descent in the field of international acoustics. He completed his PhD on sound and structural interaction in Adelaide University under the supervision of Professor David Bies. He joined the University of Western Australia since 1991 and he is now the Winthrop professor in the School of Mechanical and Chemical Engineering, and director of Center for Acoustics, Dynamics and Vibration (CADV) of UWA. He is also the members of the American Institute of Physics, the Acoustical Society of America, and the Australian Acoustical Society, respectively.

Professor Pan has authored and co-authored more than 300 journal and conference papers including 62 papers on Journal of the Acoustical Society of America (JASA), and 4 books based on his research in acoustics and control. His h-index is 31 and citation is 3848. Professor Pan had several patents and finished more than 40 research projects, and a majority of them have been successfully implemented in WA marine, mining and power industries.
